Saturday Night Running Order

–  All times can be subject to variation –

A new collaboration between Hornsea Carnival and Hornsea Floral Hall will see a return of party goers to the Floral Hall for Carnival Saturday night.

One of the larger costs to the Carnival is the band tent, which has been a massive favourite since it was introduced. From the cost of the marquee itself to the equipment needed, extra portable toilets and the licenses. Although ticket sales are good the overheads are high. A new collaboration between Hornsea Floral Hall and the Carnival will see the Carnival Saturday bands night move to the hall. Iain added: “It means Carnival now is not just limited to the park we are incorporating the whole town between the parade and the Floral Hall on Saturday night.

We love working with the community and this new collaboration can only be a positive thing. Hornsea Floral have donated the use of the hall and supporting us in this way is brilliant. This is two community organisations bringing things together for the community and keeping the money within the town which is what keeps communities alive. It makes sense to use the Floral Hall and we should have been doing so in the past. It means the Carnival are not spending money on amenities that already exist and we can utilise this elsewhere.”

    • 15 YEARS IN THE MAKING

“We pride ourselves on the whole package, from the first enquiry to the last dance.”

15 years ago the Contraband played their first show in a small pub in Hull. A few gigs later and they were asked to play at a friends wedding, then another friends office party and then another wedding……..

Very soon they were establishing themselves as one of Yorkshire’s premier party bands and were becoming well renowned for the way they interact and get the people involved in the show.

Over 10 years experience entertaining thousands of party people now puts them at the top of the tree when it comes to delivering a night to remember.
