From Paula Beecroft

My children - Charlotte (10) & Emilia (8) Beecroft, together with two friends - Georgia Coates (7) and Georgie Smithson-Brown (8) were given a balloon from a lovely lady at the KC FM stand.  They decided to launch it and wrote a note on saying who they were, their school's address and telephone number (Hornsea Community Primary School).

The school secretary was amazed, when a lady living in Neufchateau in Belgium, rang to say she had found the balloon!!!  The distance it had travelled overnight was some 400km - as the crow flies!!!
